The verdict
The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is a wrist-worn fitness tracker in band format. It scored 82 of 100 against the Fitness trackers (band format) benchmark, twelve points clear of the 70-point award threshold. The assessment covered 86.5 percent of the benchmark criteria. All four mandatory criteria are satisfied, and all five expectations defined for its price class are met with documented evidence, leaving no gaps in the required feature set.
The score builds from a base of 70. Eight bonus features were awarded on documented evidence, worth 24 points in total and capped at the maximum of 15. A price position bonus of 2 points reflects the verified reference price of €33.00 within the budget class. One negative characteristic, repeatedly documented app defects, deducted 5 points. The 24-month warranty is standard for the class and earned no additional credit.
In practice this is a device that delivers the full class specification rather than a reduced version of it: a 1.72-inch AMOLED touchscreen, heart rate, SpO2 and sleep stage tracking, connected GPS and more than 150 sport modes. The award recognises that combination at a verified €33.00, not any single standout feature. The one substantiated weakness concerns the companion app rather than the band itself.
Why it won
Records without the cloud
Step counting, sleep, heart rate, breathing rate, stress and blood oxygen readings are recorded on the device itself, without a constant Bluetooth connection to a phone. That independence from a permanently connected account was awarded 4 bonus points, the highest single weighting in this assessment.
Battery beyond the class
The manufacturer documents up to 21 days of runtime in standard mode, confirmed across six independent sources. That clears the seven-day figure the price class expects by a wide margin and additionally triggered the bonus for battery life beyond roughly 14 days, worth 3 points.
Open straps and data
Six quick-release straps are offered and further bands can be bought separately, which earned 4 points for strap availability. Recorded health and workout data syncs free of charge to Apple Health, Google Fit, Strava and Suunto, awarded a further 3 points for open export.
Verified accuracy, bright display
An independent review found heart rate readings markedly more accurate than earlier Smart Band models, both at rest and during workouts, which earned 3 points. A peak brightness of 1,500 cd/m² keeps the display readable in direct sunlight, and the documented 50 m rating makes it swim-ready.
Price and value
The verified reference price is €33.00, placing the device in the budget class, which the benchmark defines as €0 to €50. Even that class expects a colour AMOLED touchscreen, heart rate, SpO2 and sleep tracking, roughly seven days of battery, connected GPS and about 20 sport modes. All five are documented here. Sitting in the lower part of its own class earned an additional price position bonus of 2 points.

What to consider
One negative characteristic was substantiated and cost 5 points: severe, repeatedly documented defects in the companion app, including unreliable synchronisation with Health Connect, recording that stops when another app is in the foreground, and a CSV export of training data that does not work. Beyond that, the assessment does not cover long-term durability, service quality or subjective comfort and design preference.
