We pick products that matter in a European category — usually the ones buyers actually encounter. Manufacturers may also submit a product, which changes nothing about the rules.

Check benchmark coverage
The product must map to an active category benchmark and a documented European price class.

Build the evidence file
Manufacturer pages, datasheets, manuals, regulatory registers and retail listings establish every benchmark-relevant fact, each with a source and a quoted passage.

Uncertainty stays visible
Pass the gates
Price, identity, mandatory features and recall status are checked before scoring.

Calculate the result
The versioned engine matches expectations, bonuses and drawbacks, then applies the single threshold at 70.

12-month validity
Publish and monitor
Products that pass are published with a report and a verification record. Products that fail are not published. Status changes — expiry, suspension, revocation — stay public.
