The verdict
The Touroll City E-Bike MA2 is a street-legal city pedelec with a 250 W mid-drive motor and assistance ending at 25 km/h. It scored 82 of 100 against the E-bikes / pedelecs (25 km/h, EN 15194) benchmark for its price class, comfortably clear of the 70-point award threshold. The assessment covered 86.4 percent of the benchmark criteria, and all five expectations set for the class were documented as fulfilled.
The result builds on the 70-point base. Because every class expectation was met, no deduction applied there, and three awarded bonus features contributed the maximum ten points available. StVZO-compliant lighting is fitted as standard, together with mudguards, a rack and a bell — the everyday equipment the benchmark expects of a city bike. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain sits inside the expected 7–9 gear range, and the LCD display offers five assistance levels at 12, 15, 18, 21 and 25 km/h.
No account, standard parts
All core functions run from the display and physical controls; no app or cloud registration is required, which the benchmark rewards with three points. Wear parts follow standard sizes — brake pads, tyres and tubes, chain and sprockets are available from EU retailers — adding a further two points.
